East Woodburn Crag (Climbing)

For sessions taking place at East Woodburn Crag:

We will meet at the parking area below the main crag (Grid ref: NY 913 871) on the minor road heading east from the village of East Woodburn. To get here:

• From the A68 take the turning for East Woodburn (Signposted Monkridge / E. Woodburn).
• In just over 1 mile you will reach the village of East Woodburn; from here follow the road through the village to the North, over the small stone-built humpback bridge.
• After approximately 500 metres there is a turning to the right with a metal gate and cattle grid (Sign saying "Blaxter, High Nick, Border Stone Quarries").
• Follow this minor road through the gate and up the steep hill until a second gate and cattle grid after which you can park immediately on the left.
